Carolyn has an insider's perspective from over 20 years in the veterinary profession as CVT, Practice Manager, HR Director, HR Partner, and HR Consultant. Her journey began with ten years as a Certified Veterinary Technician at a busy 24-hour Emergency / GP hybrid hospital. Gaining a deep understanding of veterinary team dynamics, Carolyn worked into practice management, then into human resources as an HR Director and HR Partner for over 100 corporate veterinary hospitals. Although she gained experience and knowledge in the corporate veterinary world, Carolyn's heart has always been with independent practices. Accordingly, Carolyn founded Starpath Consulting, which provides veterinary-focused HR support to private practices. Carolyn is passionate about veterinary practice culture and empowering hospital teams. Supporting the continued success of independently owned practices is at the heart of Starpath's mission.
