Leslie is a practice manager at Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach. An eight veterinarian, small animal and exotic general practice in Southern California. She manages a staff of 60 employees. Leslie has a been a Veterinary Technologist and Practice Manager in Southern California for over 30 years. She earned her A.S. in Veterinary Technology from Mt. San Antonio College, CA an dBASVT in Veterinary Technology-Hospital Management from St Petersburg College, FL In 2011, she became a CPVM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager). Leslie holds three human resources certifications, PHR (Professional Human Resources), PHRca (California -Specific Certification), and SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources). She is also a certified Harassment Prevention Trainer. Leslie is the current Treasurer for the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) Board of Directors. Leslie lectures nationally on practice management, communication, human resources, and veterinary technician issues. She is currently finishing her MBA in Human Resources at California Coast University
