Creating consistency in revenue and expense categorizations is vital for tracking and understanding the financial position of the practice. Mary Beth Koester, Manager of the Business Valuation practice at Rea & Associates, provides valuation and succession planning services for clients. Mary Beth educates clients on strategies for growing the value of their business and assists in the formulation of their optimal succession plan.
Prior to joining Rea & Associates, Mary Beth worked for a veterinary management consulting firm where she led the business valuation division. She has performed numerous valuations, cash flow analyses, and affordability analyses. She’s been published in Firstline, has co-authored the Benchmarks Well-Managed Practice® Study, and spoken at veterinary conferences.
Mary Beth is a graduate of Cleveland State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and international business. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs, and VetPartners.
