The Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) and Patterson Veterinary University (PVU) are pleased to announce a partnership to provide a co-branded series of educational courses to enhance and expand learning opportunities for veterinary practice managers.
The series, VHMA/PVU Management Essentials: Strengthening Core Competencies to Advance Management Skills, focuses on: human resource management, inventory management, OSHA and safety management, reputation management, and finance management.
The series is designed to provide managers essential information on key management topics that will serve to strengthen foundational knowledge and skills.
The VHMA and PVU believe that coordinating the delivery of relevant, high-quality education will satisfying the expanding and evolving interests and educational needs of veterinary practice managers.
Continuing education credit is available and is applicable toward the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) program requirements.
OSHA and Safety Management
OSHA is the primary regulatory agency whose focus is to ensure employee safety. Every veterinary practice has a responsibility to create a safe working environment by complying with safety regulations. This course simplifies the creation of a workplace safety program by providing tools and templates for its development.
