The Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) and Patterson Veterinary University (PVU) are pleased to announce a partnership to provide a co-branded series of educational courses to enhance and expand learning opportunities for veterinary practice managers.
The series, VHMA/PVU Management Essentials: Strengthening Core Competencies to Advance Management Skills, focuses on: human resource management, inventory management, OSHA and safety management, reputation management, and finance management.
The series is designed to provide managers essential information on key management topics that will serve to strengthen foundational knowledge and skills.
The VHMA and PVU believe that coordinating the delivery of relevant, high-quality education will satisfying the expanding and evolving interests and educational needs of veterinary practice managers.
Continuing education credit is available and is applicable toward the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) program requirements.
Reputation Management
The reputation of a veterinary practice drives client activity. The entire team is contributing to the practice's reputation with every interaction, either intentionally or unintentionally. The manager's role is to create an intentional strategy to build and maintain reputation and the marketing activities that support it. This course provides the education, tools and templates to support reputation management.
