“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” is the adage from Benjamin Franklin. This is as true today as it was over a hundred years ago. We, as a veterinary profession, want to improve the lives of our patients and their owners. To accomplish this, prevention is key! Knowing how to provide preventive healthcare in conjunction with yearly visits is the focus of Partners for Healthy Pets and this certificate program. After completion of this Preventive Care Certificate Program, you will have the tools and resources you need to communicate the value and benefit of preventive care to your clients in a way that enhances the veterinary-client-patient relationship. You will also be able to improve the overall quality of preventive healthcare provided to your patients.
Upon completion of all modules, you will be eligible to download a certificate of completion. The certificate will indicate that the PHP Preventive Healthcare Certificate Program is AAVSB RACE approved and offers a total of 9.0 CE credits.
Nine (9.0) hours are also applicable to the continuing education requirement for the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) program offered by the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA), approval #18-51.
